Three cases of breast cancer will be discussed with best practice approaches to the management of each one.

Dr Julan Amalaseelan - MB.BS, MD, FRANZCR. Radiation Oncologist. Conjoint Lecture in the School of Medicine, Western Sydney University. Main cancer sites involved with: Breast, haematology, lower GI, skin, palliation. Special interest in new radiotherapy technique in breast cancer ( Prone technique, DIBH)
Dr Rob Simon - Dr Simon graduated with his MBBS from the University of Sydney in 1988. He completed his Surgical Fellowship at the Prince of Wales Hospital, Randwick, in 1996 and followed this with 2 years working in Breast and Endocrine Surgery at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary in Scotland. Dr Simon was appointed as a Visiting Medical Officer in General Surgery by the North Coast Area Health Service (now Northern NSW Local Health District) in May 1999. Dr Simon was the Head of the Department of Surgery at Lismore Base Hospital 2004 to 2015. Dr Simon has a special interest in thyroid/endocrine surgery (including minimally invasive parathyroidectomy, parotidectomies and laparoscopic adrenalectomies) and the surgical management of breast cancer and has spent many years honing his skills in these areas.
Dr Amy Scott - Dr Amy Scott commenced working as a medical oncologist in February 2016 at Oncology North Coast. Dr Scott will be supervising chemotherapy treatments at Lismore, Grafton and Ballina hospitals and at St Vincent's Hospital. Amy will be providing inpatient services to Lismore Base Hospital and St Vincent's Hospital. She will also be consulting monthly at the Grafton Oncology Unit and Ballina Clinic. Dr Scott is also involved in local clinical trials. Before coming to Lismore, Amy completed her core years of oncology training at Sydney’s Prince of Wales Hospital, St George Hospital and Sutherland Hospital. She completed her undergraduate medical training at the University of Leeds, United Kingdom. Amy is enjoying living on the North Coast of NSW and especially likes the relaxed feel and community spirit.
